Meet Charlie, our new New Digital Engagement Assistant.
As we continue to expand our digital outreach, we welcome Charlie, our new Digital Engagement Assistant. Charlie is currently pursuing a T Level in Digital Production, Design & Development at New College Swindon. His work placement with us is a vital part of his educational journey, and we’re excited to have him on board.
“Hello, I’m Charlie the new Digital Engagement Assistant at the Swindon Heritage Preservation (SHP). As part of my T Level course, I get to complete a work placement in an industry-related role. This led me to discovering the Swindon Heritage Preservation, where this role is helping me gain both practical skills and technical knowledge needed for a career within the digital industry. My time with the SHP has been incredibly rewarding. Seeing the effect it has on the local community and watching its progress has been fulfilling and motivating. I’m thankful for all the support and opportunities the Trust has given me. I’m incredibly excited to contributing further and continuing to grow in this role.”

Charlie’s role includes helping to manage our social media platforms, creating digital eye-catching content and assisting in various digital projects.
