Railway Village Museum Weekly Opening 2024

Step back in time at this Swindon Railway Village cottage where you can discover Victorian traditions.

Witness the sights sounds and smells of local community life and learn how a Great Western Railway worker would have lived with their family c.1900.

We are open regularly to the public and host a variety of seasonal and themed events for whole family to enjoy.

Our weekly opening offers you the chance to explore the Museum and collection: A Victorian family home set in 1901.

Meet our experienced volunteers and learn about the social history of our beloved Railway Town and its early development.
